2 weeks of PTO during the first 3 years and we have flexibility if the candidate has an upcoming planned event.
Although cellular / internet allowance states “based on management approval”, we always approve that.
Same thing for mileage allowance. It’s always approved.
Salary range is from 85k to 95k, and Greyson does have flexibility to go a little higher if they have an A player with experienced and proven success. Up to 120-130K and OTE (180-200K)
Commission payment is based on gross profit margin, and it varies from 10% – 12%. This too will be based on the candidate’s experience.
Once the AM achieves their annual quota, the commission rate doubles to 20% – 24% respectively for all incremental GP sold.
The standard GP annual quota is 750k however, we will assign a lower quota for year one to give the AM an opportunity to exceed their quota and hit their accelerators.
Year one quota is set on an individual case basis which is primarily driven by their experience, past success and the local relationships they have.
We can provide a recoverable draw and the amount would be something that we would discuss with the candidate. Some want it and others do not.
Total earnings potential in year one is anywhere from 175k-225k. This of course is based on several variables; however, it does not include SPIFFs offered by some of the vendors we represent.
Greyson’s tenured AMs averaged 1.2 Mil in GP last year.
Greyson’s newest team member (started in Oct 2020) booked 781k in their first full year (2021).
All Greyson’s AMs exceeded their quotas in 2021.
All Greyson’s AMs have exceeded their YTD quota as of June 2022.
These open positions are part of Greyson’s growth strategy.
Greyson’s 6 service deliver engineers are all CCIEs and are in market.
Greyson’s SAs are in-market.
Having sold in-market for at least 3 – 5 years. I am open to someone who is new to the market but, they must have experience and success, working for a VAR or manufacture.
Currently selling to the same IT buyers we sell to.
Documented success in current and prior roles.
Greyson’s open to considering reps from the carrier segment such as AT&T, Lumen, Spectrum, etc. however, there are very few that have the foundation required to be successful in our space.
Greyson’s sweet spot is companies that have 500 – 5,000 employees, so, if the candidates have successful experience in selling in this space, that’s a green light
Account Manager – 85k-105k base plus 12-15% commission on GP

The Account Manager will perform as a quota carrying salesperson responsible for the sale of Greyson solutions in primarily new accounts in the South Florida region. This is a highly autonomous role requiring a proactive, strategic and dynamic IT Sales Professional. The Account Manager will be responsible for managing and developing assigned acquisition accounts and will take responsibility for the penetration of new product sales, as well as growing our professional services and managed services business. IT field sales experience and a track record in IT Solutions selling are required.
Directly drive the sale of Greyson client and enterprise Solutions to new accounts in the territory
Work closely with the Inside Sales team, pre-sales, and post-sales technical resources
Manage and develop a territory to increase market share and revenue
Prospect actively daily for new business and direct client engagement
Leverage manufacturing partners and third party services partners to provide business-relevant IT solutions to the client
Carry out all aspects of the sale including solution qualification, solution definition, pricing negotiations, contract development, and ensuring successful order fulfillment
Manage opportunities through the buying process and monthly forecasts in Salesforce.com
The ideal candidate will have a blended sales and technical background and be proficient in sales methodologies and processes. In addition to exemplary selling skills, the candidate should demonstrate strong communications skills and excellent time management.
