Overview

A Value-Added Reseller (VAR) focused on delivering top-tier managed IT services is seeking an Associate Collaboration NOC Engineer to join its growing team. This entry-level position is ideal for candidates with a CCNA Collaboration certification who are eager to build hands-on experience supporting Cisco Unified Communications solutions in an enterprise setting.

This role will focus on assisting senior engineers in maintaining and troubleshooting collaboration infrastructure, primarily within customer environments that rely on Cisco voice technologies.


Key Responsibilities

  • Work alongside the NOC team to provide timely support and troubleshooting for voice and collaboration services.
  • Attend regular team syncs to discuss case handling, share technical insights, and align on service delivery goals.
  • Leverage collaboration tools to communicate clearly and effectively with team members and customers.
  • Assist in managing day-to-day service requests and ensuring service levels and production baselines are maintained.
  • Support operational documentation and contribute to the improvement of internal processes and workflows.
  • Perform additional administrative or support-related tasks as needed.

Desired Skills & Experience

  • Foundational understanding of Cisco Collaboration solutions (Unified Communications Manager, Unity Connection, Voice Gateways).
  • Exposure to or interest in tools such as Cisco UCM, Unity Connections, IM & Presence, UCCX, WebEx Calling, and Control Hub is highly preferred.
  • Enthusiastic about learning the installation, configuration, and support of voice-related software and hardware components.
  • Strong customer service orientation and the ability to communicate technical information clearly.
  • Eagerness to grow troubleshooting capabilities across Cisco collaboration tools and environments.
  • Ability to work well as part of a collaborative team in a fast-paced environment.
  • Excellent time management, organization, and problem-solving skills.

Minimum Requirements

  • CCNA Collaboration certification (active or in-progress).
  • Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field is preferred but not required.
